DCU believes creators must have a meaningful place in the value chain of the AI economy.
Creators are not free training material.
Posts, articles, images, videos, voice recordings and professional knowledge can be valuable inputs into AI systems. Those systems may be used in subscription products, advertising tools, enterprise software and other commercial services.
Public availability does not mean creators should have no say in commercial use. Creators deserve transparency about how their work is used and a fair opportunity to choose, negotiate and be rewarded.
