DCU is developing a collective framework through which participating creators can authorise defined commercial uses of works they own or control.

01. Define the requirement. Tell DCU what category of creator work and commercial use you are seeking.
02. Identify participating creators and rights. DCU works with participating creators to establish relevant rights and permissions.
03. Discuss licensing terms. Where appropriate, DCU can explore collective licensing arrangements with prospective users.
04. Distribution. Where an agreement is reached, creator remuneration would be handled according to the applicable agreement and DCU’s governance and distribution framework.
